(02) Our Process

Four phases, start to handover

Every project runs the same four phases. What changes between them is how much of each one your project needs, and we agree that in the first week.

  1. Discovery

    1–2 weeks

We map your goals, market and constraints, then write the scope and budget you sign off.

    • Figuring out the goals: we establish what you want to achieve, then research your market, competitors and audience.
    • Exploring: we gather the detail and talk to everyone involved, so the options are chosen with their input rather than around it.
    • Roadmap: we plan the budget and timeline against what is realistic, and finish with a roadmap that guides each step.
  2. Strategy

    1 week

We turn the scope into a build plan: priorities, sequence and who owns what.

    • Discovery and analysis: we work through your business needs, goals, audience and competition.
    • Goal setting: we agree clear, actionable goals with you rather than assuming them.
    • Strategic planning: we build the roadmap, set priorities and decide where resources go.
    • Implementation: the team runs tasks against that plan and keeps the work in sync with it.
    • Review and adjust: we track progress, gather your feedback and change the plan when it needs changing.
  3. Execution

    Agile or Waterfall

We build to the plan and show you working software on a fixed rhythm.

    • Waterfall suits fixed requirements, strict documentation, predictable deliverables and a simple scope.
    • Agile Scrum suits requirements that will move, frequent feedback, complex builds and close collaboration.
    • Waterfall runs as one linear sequence. Agile breaks the work into sprints, and you see working software at the end of each one.
    • We agree which of the two you are on before the build starts, not partway through it.
  4. Review

    Every sprint

We check the build against what you signed off, and fix drift before it compounds.

    • Progress check: we review status against the milestones and the deadline.
    • Feedback collection: we take input from your stakeholders and from the team building it.
    • Issue identification: we surface problems and discrepancies while they are still cheap to fix.
    • Reporting: you get a written update covering progress, what changed and what happens next.
